I have been practicing quilting with the new Bernina Stitch Regulator, what an amazing attachment! It allows you to free-motion quilt without using the foot pedal! When you move the fabric, it regulates the speed of stitching by how fast you move your hands. I am practicing, practicing, practicing so I can do more quilting.
I am taking a class at Midwest Sewing on July 31st to learn more. I love taking classes! I will be taking several this year to improve my skills.

It’s here! I am sew excited to have my hands on these fabrics. Tons of ideas for projects to sew on my new machine! It’s so nice to see it on a bolt after working with strike-offs, you just can’t wait to see what it’s going to look like and feel like at the final stages!

Look at all the pretty colors! They are delicious!

We love these beautiful fabrics! Thank you so much Benartex!

There are all kinds of joy in life, joy of motherhood, joy of first love, joy of friendship. But there is another joy, Bernina Joy.

The wonderful delight of working on a machine that sews effortlessly! I have been getting to know my new machine and have been testing it quite thoroughly. I can’t say enough how much I love my new Aurora 440!

One of the many wonderful things about going to Quilt Market is having women tell me about the project they are working on. Connie Huddleston of The Little Wool Shoppe brought a project she was working on with her to show me.

She was working on the Baby Jacket pattern and made it from an old quilt, some beautiful hankies and embroidered them.

Her project was not complete, but the work is lovely! So happy to see all the talent! Thanks for sharing, Connie!
